The best part about Instant Pot soups is that they usually take about 30 minutes to make. They only take a few minutes to cook, so you spend most of the time either prepping the ingredients or waiting for the Instant Pot to come to pressure. Its important to keep in mind, that when you cook Instant Pot Soups you should always do a Natural Pressure Release for at least a few minutes. Otherwise the liquid may shout through the valve.

I do have one question: What can be subbed (or can it be left out) for celery? I have a relative who is highly allergic to this veggie and “natural flavors” (when listed on labels since celery salt or powder can be classified as a natural flavor).

Are there more recipes that don’t use tomatoes? Sometimes have a reaction to the acid.

I am married to a very picky eater but your recipes for soup have won him over!

    1. Hi Patty – I am so happy that you are enjoying these recipes 🙂 makes my heart melt! Celery is always optional, you can totally skip it altogether or replace it with other veggies like: cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, and even bok choy.
When it comes to the tomatoes, if its a tomato based recipe, its harder to skip and have the same taste. If its just adding some tomato paste, you can always omit that. I will be posting an Instant Pot Broccoli Soup this week, that is tomato free and omg so good 🙂
