Get Ready to Make Some Cake on National Cake Day November 26th

Fruit cake, yule logs, gingerbread cakes, and spice cakes all have a happy place in my heart reminding me of the holidays past. I love baking cakes this time of the  year.

One of my favorites is the yule log because you can decorate it to look like a log but it tastes so incredible. I have two versions in this post: chocolate and vanilla. But they both taste fabulous.

Christmas Cake Roll

Starting with the Christmas cake yule log, this one is easy to make with vanilla cake mix and food coloring but it looks and tastes professional. My family and friends love this cake.

Yule Log Cake

Here is my original yule log. It looks like a real log on the outside with a creamy thick chocolate filling on the inside. This is so easy but amazing too.

Eggnog Cheesecake

It may not be a real cake but it is too pretty to pass up. My rich cheesecake is made with eggnog, food coloring, and a gingersnap crust that makes it perfect.

Gingerbread cake

This gingergread cake is made easy in my instant pot with cream cheese and bourbon. It is one of my family's favorite holiday desserts and is so easy to make, I always have extra.
