National nut day is coming on October 22nd

I love nuts in all sorts of foods from bread to ice cream. They are even great in meat dishes like almond chicken.

Pecans are found in many of my favorite holiday dishes too

From sweet to savory, I like to add pecans to all sorts of my holiday favorites like sweet potato casserole, pecan pie, and my pecan pie French toast casserole for breakfast.

Pecan Pie French Toast Casserole

I love to start the day with some gooey pecans soaked overnight in a sweet vanilla egg mixture on baked French bread. This is an easy way to fill everyone up with some energy for a busy day.

Instead of coffee, sometimes I like to enjoy this peanut butter hot chocolate. It's so easy to make and tastes incredibly creamy and rich. Topped with whipped cream, chocolate sauce, and peanut butter drizzle, it looks like it came from a chocolate shop.

Instant Pot Cashew Chicken

For dinner, try my easy to make dump-and-cook instant pot cashew chicken. This is much better than take out and you can make it in less than 30 minutes. The crunchy cashews and juicy chicken are soaked in a gooey thick sweet and tangy sauce you will love.

Loaded with crunchy pistachios, tart cranberries, and rich white chocolate chips topped with melted white chocolate these are the perfect holiday cookie with everything.

Crockpot Sweet Potato Casserole

Making this favorite side dish in the crock pot is a brilliant idea because it saves so much time and effort and leaves room in the oven for pie! I love pie! This sweet potato casserole is full of crunchy toasted pecans and lots of creamy marshmallows.
