For Ham Day on April 15th, Let's Enjoy These Recipes

Baked, cooked in the instant pot, or made in the slow cooker, a ham is the perfect meal for a holiday or any day.

I also enjoy making casseroles with ham and other ingredients like potatoes, cheese, and vegetables.

Ham and Cheese Quiche

This ham and cheese quiche is a crowd pleaser for starting the day. It is full of gooey cheese, chopped ham, crunchy bacon, and lots of eggs to give you plenty of energy. It is also a nice brunch dish served with fruits, muffins, and jam.

For lunch, my ham and bean soup is easy to make and hearty enough to refuel the kids with ham, potatoes, and carrots. It takes less than 20 minutes to prepare and there are just a handful of basic ingredients to a homemade meal.

Scalloped Potatoes and Ham

With layers of tender potatoes and thick meaty ham soaked in velvety sauce, this is a homemade classic that can be a side dish or meal. The gooey melted cheddar mixed with the chunks of ham and potatoes make it a favorite in my house no matter what I call it.

Here is the perfect main entree for Easter dinner that has a prep time of less than five minutes. And it will be ready to eat in less than an hour! The flavor is outstanding too with a sweet buttery glaze of honey, brown sugar, and my butter spice blend.

Honey Butter Ham

Instant Pot Ham

If you need your ham faster, this instant pot honey brown sugar ham can be done in about 20 minutes. This is a spiral ham that serves 12 with crushed pineapple, orange zest, and honey cooked under pressure so it is juicy and tender. And the oven is free to make pies and cakes.
