Donuts are pretty important. They get celebrated a lot. There are two donut days and then on October 30 we celebrate Buy a Donut Day. However, I am making mine instead of buying them because they taste so much better.
Whether you like your donuts full of cream and topped with frosting or full of fruit and topped with icing, I have those recipes. I also have the basic cake and glazed donuts.
My basic glazed donuts have a special twist. They are made in an air fryer so they are not full of grease. What they are full of is sweet vanilla butter glaze that makes them so incredibly delicious you have to make at least a dozen.
These baked delights are perfect for this time of year because I make them with apple cider. With the sweet and tangy flavor, they are perfect for a snack, breakfast, or dessert. And since they are baked, they are healthier than other donuts too.
Just because they do not look like a donut doesn't mean they don't taste like one. They are light and fluffy with a pumpkin flavor perfect for this time of year. With a cinnamon sugar coating and warm fall spices, I would have to say they are perfect.
If you have never had Dunkin Donuts French cruller, you have to try my copycat version. These are so delicious and go great with a cup of coffee or a cup of anything for that matter!
Strawberry lovers are going to fall head over heels for my eclairs. With tender pastry stuffed with my homemade custard topped with pink chocolate, this is a dessert to be proud of. I love to serve these to the ladies at brunch with mimosas.
