  • 4 lb chicken wings
  • 1/4 cup canola oil
  • 1/4 cup butter melted
  • 1/2 tablespoon ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons lemon zest
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup


  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  • In a large bowl mix all the ingredients.
  • Toss chicken wings in the mixture. Arrange the wings on a wire rack set on a baking sheet, making sure they don't touch each other.
  • Bake for 50-60 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
  • Remove wings from the oven.
  • Place on a platter and serve immediately.
