  • 1 pound cherry tomatoes ripe and cut into half
  • 1 1/2 cup fresh mozzarella balls cocktail size - sliced
  • 1/2 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar reduction
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar optional
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper


  • Slice the tomatoes and arrange them with the cheese on a platter.
  • Drizzle with olive oil and balsamic vinegar reduction, balsamic vinegar, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Sprinkle with fresh basil leaves and serve immediately.
