Tzatziki Sauce Recipe
Tzatziki Sauce is creamy, tangy, and refreshingly good! This recipe is so easy to make with only a few ingredients needed, and quite healthy, too!
Servings 2 cups
- 1/2 large cucumber unpeeled
- 2 cups plain Greek yogurt full-fat
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tablespoon white vinegar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon fresh dill minced
Grate the cucumber and drain through a fine-mesh sieve overnight in the fridge.
In a large bowl combine yogurt with garlic, olive oil, vinegar, lemon juice, cayenne pepper, and salt, stir well. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
Add the grated cucumber and fresh dill to the yogurt mixture and stir to combine when ready to serve.
Serve chilled with pita bread and veggies for dipping.
