Slow Cooker Lazy Lasagna

Slow Cooker Lazy Lasagna is such an easy meal, made with frozen ravioli, ground beef and tomato mixture and obviously lots of cheese. Enjoy this cheesy, meaty, and hearty dish even on busy weeknights!

Ingredients

  • 25 oz bag frozen cheese ravioli
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 3 cans crushed tomatoes 14 oz each
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • 4 cups mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese

Instructions

Cook the Beef Mixture:

  1. Place a large skillet over medium heat, add the oil and wait for it to shart shimmering.
  2. Once hot, add the beef, cook unmoved for 3 minutes, to get a nice sear on it. After that, start breaking it apart with a wooden spoon and cook until no longer pink and nicely browned. Drain grease.
  3. Add the crushed tomatoes, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika. Stir to combine.
  4. Add salt and pepper to taste.

Assemble:

  1. Add some of the sauce to the bottom of a 6-quart crockpot, just to cover it.
  2. Then add a layer of frozen ravioli, top with a layer of mozzarella cheese.
  3. Repeat with the remaining ingredients, distribute them in a way to end with the meat sauce on top.
  4. Then top with the remaining mozzarella cheese and parmesan cheese on top.
  5. Cook on the Low setting for 4 hours.
  6. Turn off the slow cooker and let it sit for about 15-20 minutes before serving.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley when serving.
