  • 25 oz bag frozen cheese ravioli
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 3 cans crushed tomatoes 14 oz each
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • 4 cups mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese

Cook the Beef Mixture:

  • Place a large skillet over medium heat, add the oil and wait for it to shart shimmering.
  • Once hot, add the beef, cook unmoved for 3 minutes, to get a nice sear on it. After that, start breaking it apart with a wooden spoon and cook until no longer pink and nicely browned. Drain grease.
  • Add the crushed tomatoes, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika. Stir to combine.
  • Add salt and pepper to taste.

  • Add some of the sauce to the bottom of a 6-quart crockpot, just to cover it.
  • Then add a layer of frozen ravioli, top with a layer of mozzarella cheese.
  • Repeat with the remaining ingredients, distribute them in a way to end with the meat sauce on top.
  • Then top with the remaining mozzarella cheese and parmesan cheese on top.
  • Cook on the Low setting for 4 hours.
  • Turn off the slow cooker and let it sit for about 15-20 minutes before serving.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley when serving.
