Ingredients

  • 6 chicken legs bone-in and skin-on
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon freshly chopped rosemary
  • 1 tablespoon freshly chopped thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Garnish:

  • Fresh rosemary
  • Lemon wedges

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  • Lightly grease a 10x10 baking dish with olive oil and set it aside.
  • In a large bowl mix lemon juice, honey, and olive oil. Add chicken legs and toss to combine.
  • Add the rest of the ingredients and toss to combine.
  • Transfer to the prepared baking dish and bake for 40-45 minutes or until juices run clear and chicken reaches 165 degrees F or until golden brown.
  • Broil for 1-2 minutes if desired for extra crispy skin.
