- 1 5- pound pork shoulder roast
- 1 1/2 tablespoons liquid smoke
- 1 1/2 tablespoons pink Himalayan salt
- 1 20-oz can pineapple chunks or crushed pineapple
Lightly grease an 8-quart slow cooker with nonstick spray.
Place the roast in the slow cooker, poke it with a fork all over.
Pour liquid smoke and pineapple juice with chunks evenly over the roast, then sprinkle evenly with the salt.
Cover and cook on low for 8-12 hours depending on the size of the roast.
Uncover, transfer roast with some of the cooking juices to a large plate and pull part the pork with 2 forks.
Serve over rice, or on buns with coleslaw!
