- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- 1 1/2 cups mashed bananas about 3 medium bananas
- 1 large egg room temperature
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter melted
- 1/4 cup canola oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F, and spray a 9x5 inch loaf pan with non-stick baking spray.
Next, in a large bowl mash the bananas using a fork until creamy. Add melted butter, oil and sugar and combine using a hand mixer.
Then add egg, vanilla and mix again.
Combine flour, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl and whisk. Slowly add dry mixture to wet mixture and stir.
Next, fold in chocolate chips using a spatula.
Add the mixture to the loaf pan and bake for 55-60 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
