Boozy Apple Iced Tea is bright and refreshing, this is the perfect fall cocktail.

Ingredients

  • 500 ml water filtered boiling water
  • 500 ml apple juice
  • 2 black tea bags or 2 apple cinnamon tea bags
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 2 lemons juice extracted
  • 10 mint leaves cleaned and crushed
  • 1 lemon sliced
  • 2 ounces gin
  • 4 ounces apple flavored vodka
  • 2 ounces bourbon
  • Ice

Garnish:

  • Min leaves
  • 1 red apple sliced
  • 1 green apple sliced
  • juice of half lemon

Instructions

  1. Add the boiling water to a medium bowl. Add in the tea bags and let steep for 10 minutes.
  2. Remove and discard the tea bag and stir in honey, lemon juice and crushed mint leaves into the still hot tea.
  3. If you are using sweetened apple juice, and would't prefer the drink to be too sweet, skip the honey.
  4. Let the tea cool at room temperature. Strain and discard the mint leaves.
  5. Pour the tea into a pitcher, stir in the apple juice, gin, apple flavored vodka and bourbon. Taste and if you prefer more alcohol, adjust on your preference. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
  6. When ready to serve, add sliced apples to a bowl, drizzle with lemon juice, mix and add them to the pitcher with the boozy apple tea.
  7. Add lemon slices to the pitcher and a few fresh mint leaves.
  8. Serve:
  9. Add ice cubes, green and red apple slices and a few lemon slices to a tall glass. Pour the Boozy Iced Apple Tea, garnish with a lemon wedge and fresh mint.
  10. Serve and enjoy!
