Prepare the following ingredients: Fish filet patty ingredients:Panko breadcrumbsWhite fish fillets: Thin and flat. – Soft buns: We used brioche buns. – Cheddar cheese slicesOil spray: We use olive oil. Batter:Egg: At room temperature. – Mayonnaise: Also at room temperature. – Dijon mustardPickle juiceEnriched flourKosher saltBlack pepper Creamy McDonald’s tartar sauce:MayonnaiseDiced pickles: Very finely chopped. – Fresh parsley: Chopped. – Capers: Drained and finely chopped. – Fresh lemon juiceWhite sugarKosher salt

STEP 1

First, stir together the batter ingredients then cut fish fillets into squares and gently dip and coat them in the prepared batter

STEP 2

Next, delicately press the fish squares in the breadcrumbs that were initially baked with oil for 3-5 minutes, so that all the sides are well covered

STEP 3

Transfer the fillets into a tray, bake in a preheated oven for 12-15 minutes at 350F. After removing from the oven - top with cheese and assemble the sandwich: bun, fish, cheese and sauce.
