Here's What You Need

For this recipe, you need: -Sliced strawberries -Heavy cream -All-purpose flour -Unsalted butter -Granulated white sugar -White chocolate chips -Large egg -Lemon zest -Lemon juice -Vanilla extract -Baking powder -Salt For the topping: -White chocolate chips -Coconut oil

STEP 1

First, preheat oven to 400 F and stir together the dry ingredients. Then, add the butter and mix with a pastry cutter. Fold in the white chocolate chips. 

STEP 2

In another bowl, add the heavy cream, vanilla, egg, lemon zest, and lemon juice. Whisk until they are well combined. 

STEP 3

After, add the wet ingredients to the flour mixture and stir well. Then, gently fold in the strawberries with a rubber spatula. 

STEP 4

Next, shape the dough into a disc on a floured surface and cut it into 8 wedges. Place them on a baking sheet covered in parchment paper and brush with cream. 

STEP 5

After baking, let the scones cool while you melt the chocolate chips and oil. Drizzle it over the cooled scones and let it set before serving them.
