Gather some fresh strawberries, lemon juice, vanilla beans, and a few other basic ingredients for a mouthwatering spread or filling you can make in minutes.

For this recipe, you need: -Sliced fresh strawberries -Unsalted butter -Large egg yolks -Vanilla bean seeds -Fresh lemon juice -Granulated white sugar -Cornstarch

STEP 1

First, blend strawberries in a food processor or blender until smooth. Then, push it through a fine mesh sieve to remove seeds. 

STEP 2

Next, add cornstarch and sugar to a medium pot on medium low heat. Whisk in the strawberry puree, lemon juice, and vanilla bean seeds a little at a time. 

STEP 3

Add egg yolks and bring mixture to a boil on medium heat whisking constantly. Continue to cook and whisk constantly for one minute. 

STEP 4

Remove from heat and add butter, whisking until melted and combined. Place plastic wrap right on the curd to prevent a film and chill for about 8 hours before serving.
