Champagne Shrimp Scampi is the perfect New Year's Eve dinner. Or you can have it anytime because it is so easy to make. 

Here's What You Need

For this recipe you need: -Peeled and deveined shrimp -Dry champagne or Prosecco -Uncooked linguini or fettuccine pasta -Heavy cream -Lemon juice -Red pepper flakes -Minced garlic -Unsalted butter -Grated parmesan cheese -Lemon zest -Diced fresh parsley -Salt and pepper

STEP 1

First, cook pasta al dente, drain, and set aside. Then, melt butter, add garlic and red pepper, and cook for 30 to 60 seconds.

STEP 2

Then, add raw shrimp and cook for two to three minutes. They are done when they are light pink. 

STEP 3

Next, pour in the champagne, lemon juice, and cream. Season with salt and pepper and stir well.

STEP 4

After, add the cooked pasta and toss well. Make sure it is all coated in the champagne sauce. 

STEP 5

Finally, top with shaved parmesan cheese, add lemon zest, and garnish with freshly chopped parsley. Serve immediately.
