For the crumb topping you need: -All-purpose flour -Melted unsalted butter -White granulated sugar -Packed dark brown sugar -Pumpkin pie spice For the maple icing: -Pure maple syrup -Powdered sugar -Milk -Vanilla extract

STEP 1

First, whisk flour, salt, pumpkin pie spice, cinnamon, and baking soda in one bowl and oil, both sugars, pumpkin, eggs, vanilla, and buttermilk in another. 

STEP 2

Now, mix the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients using a spatula to fold it together gently. Do not overmix.

STEP 3

Spoon the batter into a pan with cupcake liners and crumble the topping onto each one. Bake for 5 minutes at 425 F and 17 to 20 minutes at 350 F.

STEP 4

Last, let them cool for 10 minutes before removing to cool completely. Then, whisk icing and drizzle it on top before serving.
