For this recipe you need:-Chopped pecans-Sliced French bread-Maple syrup-Heavy cream-Whole milk-Large eggs-Light brown sugar-Molasses-Vanilla extract-Unsalted butter-Ground nutmeg-Ground cinnamon
STEP 1
First, grease a 9x13 casserole dish. Then, beat cream, milk, eggs, and vanilla in a large bowl until combined and set aside.

Now, place bread in a large shallow bowl and pour milk mixture on top. Cover and chill for at least 6 hours.
STEP 3
Then, melt butter in a small saucepan on medium heat. Once it melts, remove from heat and stir in the cinnamon, brown sugar, molasses, nutmeg, syrup, and pecans.

Preheat oven to 350 F. Make sure the pecan pie mixture is thoroughly mixed and spread it into your prepared casserole dish.
STEP 5
Next, place soaked bread slices on top of the pecan mixture and bake for 35 minutes. Finally, cool for 10 minutes and then flip over and serve warm.
