For this recipe you need:-Dry pasta-Eggs-Egg yolk-Brown sugar-White granulated sugar-Milk-Vanilla extract-Cream-Unsalted butter-Cinnamon-Nutmeg-Salt for cooking pastaOptional ingredients:-Raisins or cranberries-Orange zest
First, preheat oven to 350 F and bring a pot of water to boil. Add salt and pasta and cook for 10 to 14 minutes.
Now, drain pasta and put it back in the pot. Then, beat milk, vanilla, sugars, eggs, cinnamon, and nutmeg until combined.
Next, pour the custard into the bowl with the pasta and mix well. Add raisins and zest, if using.
After, grease a casserole dish and pour the mixture into the dish. Level it off with a spatula.
Bake for an hour and then sprinkle the top with sugar. You can use a torch to burn it like creme brulee or just serve it with powdered sugar and fruit on top.
