Lemon Chimichurri Pork Chops

For a new way to make pork chops, try our chimichurri recipe with sweet chili and barbecue sauce. And the chimichurri sauce is slightly spicy with a hint of lemon. 

Here's What You Need

For this recipe, you need: -Pork chops -Molasses -Sweet chili sauce -Barbecue sauce -Salt -Black pepper For the sauce: -Chopped garlic -Fresh parsley -Fresh cilantro -Lemon zest -Lemon juice -Italian seasoning -Red pepper flakes -Jalapeno -Extra virgin olive oil -Salt

STEP 1

First, mix the sauce ingredients in a food processor. Blend on low for 1 or 2 minutes until cilantro and parsley are chopped well. Then, put it in an airtight container in the fridge.

STEP 2

Next, mix the sweet chili sauce, molasses, and barbecue sauce in a medium bowl. Preheat your grill to medium or prep a grill pan. 

Step 3

Pat your pork chops dry with a paper towel and season them on both sides. Arrange them on a grill evenly with room to breathe. 

Step 4

Spread some barbecue sauce on each pork chop with a basting brush and then cover. Let them cook for 5 to 6 minutes before flipping. 

Step 5

Coat the other side with sauce and let it cook for another 5 to 6 minutes. Remove when a meat thermometer reaches 155 degrees F and let them rest until they reach 160 degrees F. Serve with chimichurri sauce.
