Here's What You Need

For this recipe you need: -Broccoli florets -Diced shallot -Minced garlic -Farfalle or rotini pasta -Low-sodium vegetable or chicken broth or stock -Heavy cream -Lemon zest -Water -Extra virgin olive oil -Salt -Ground black pepper For serving: -Lemon zest -Lemon juice -Grated parmesan cheese

STEP 1

First, cook shallot and garlic in oil. Then, add dry pasta, cream, broth, water, zest, salt, and pepper. Cover and bring it to a boil.

STEP 2

Then, uncover and turn heat to medium. Cook for 8 to 10 minutes, stirring frequently. Add broccoli and cook for 2 to 3 more minutes. 

STEP 3

Next, remove the pan from the heat and stir in the parmesan cheese and lemon juice. 

STEP 4

Finally, sprinkle on lemon zest and some more parmesan cheese and serve immediately.
