Our recipe for baked lamb braised in wine and cooked with onions, potatoes, peppers, and garlic is absolutely delicious. Perfect for a party, romantic dinner, or just a meal with the family.
For Lamb Pot Roast, you need:-Boneless lamb shoulder-White wine-Lemon -Red bell pepper-Potatoes-Garlic cloves-Red onions-Bay leaves-Rosemary sprigs and leaves-Dried oregano-Brown sugar-Smoked paprika-Salt-Freshly ground black pepper
STEP 1
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F and oil a 9x12-inch casserole dish. Then, mix paprika, rosemary, oregano, pepper, salt, and brown sugar in a small bowl. Brush the lamb with oil and rub the spice mix all over.
STEP 2
Then, brown the meat in an oiled non-stick skillet over medium heat. When finished, move the lamb and its juices into a prepared casserole dish.
Step 3
Now, add wine, juice, bell pepper, potatoes, garlic, onions, bay leaves, and rosemary sprigs. Cook, covered, for three hours or until the meat is tender. Remove bay leaves and rosemary and garnish with lemon zest, rosemary, and parsley.
