With this Italian Butter Cookies Recipe you will easy make traditional and absolutely delicious Italian cookies in the comfort of your home. Very easy to make and customize  depending on your preferences.

Here's What You Need

Prepare the following:All-purpose flour: Sifted. – Butter: Softened to room temperature. – Pure vanilla extract: or almond extract. – Medium eggs: At room temperature. – Medium yolk: At room temperature. – Powdered sugar: Or confectioners’ sugar. – Salt: Optional. STEP 1

First, whip the butter with sugar, then add gradually the eggs, after that the egg yolk and vanilla extract. Gradually add the flour until fully incorporated.

STEP 2

Next, fill a piping bag with the cookie dough and using a large star tip - pipe it into different shapes on a baking sheet. Put everything in fridge to chill for 30 minutes. Cook the cookies in the preheated oven for 12 minutes at 360 degrees F then cool completely.

STEP 3
