If you are a fan of cheesesteak sandwiches, this chicken version is a great recipe to try. Filled with bell peppers, onions, and garlic, there is a burst of flavor in every bite!

Here's What You Need

You just need these ingredients for this recipe: -Boneless chicken breast -Yellow bell pepper -Green bell pepper -Red bell pepper -Yellow onion -Minced garlic cloves -Olive oil -Shredded provolone cheese -Soy sauce -Smoked paprika -Onion powder -Oregano -Italian seasoning -Kosher salt -Freshly ground black pepper

STEP 1

Add the sliced onions and bell peppers to a large skillet with one tablespoon hot oil. Season with salt and pepper and saute for three to five minutes, until they are tender, stirring occasionally.

STEP 2

Add the garlic to the pan and cook for another minute before transferring the veggies to a plate. Pour the rest of the oil in the skillet and add the chicken, seasonings, salt, and pepper.

Step 3

Spread the meat out in a single layer and let it cook without touching it for several minutes so it browns. Then, stir so it browns on the other side. Add soy sauce and cook until the chicken is 160 degrees F.

Step 4

Add the veggies and any juices back to the pan and stir it all together. Top with provolone cheese and cover for one to two minutes. Once the cheese has melted, serve with garnish.
