For this recipe you need: -Fettuccine pasta -Boneless skinless chicken breasts -Grated parmesan cheese -Heavy cream -All-purpose flour -Chopped garlic cloves -Unsalted butter -Olive oil -Salt -Freshly ground black pepper -Chopped fresh parsley

STEP 1

First, cook and drain pasta. Heat oil and butter in a skillet. Add chicken and season with salt and pepper. Cook until brown on both sides. 

STEP 2

Cover the pan and cook for 5 minutes. Remove chicken and set aside. Melt butter in the same skillet with garlic, and cook for 30 seconds.

STEP 3

Next, add flour and stir until it forms a paste. Then, add the cream SLOWLY while stirring constantly until the sauce is smooth.

STEP 4

Cook for several minutes until thick. Add the parmesan and stir until it melts. Then add salt and pepper to taste. 

STEP 5

When ready to serve, add the pasta to bowls. Then, add sliced chicken and pour alfredo sauce on top of it all.
