For this recipe, you need: -Ricotta cheese -Lemon zest -Lemon juice -Large eggs -Granulated sugar -Softened butter -Vanilla extract -All-purpose flour -Salt -Baking soda -Powdered sugar for dusting

STEP 1

After preheating the oven and greasing your springform pan, beat sugar and butter in a large bowl. Scrape the sides and bottom as you go. 

STEP 2

Then, add cheese and whisk on medium for four to five minutes, until it is light and fluffy. After, add the eggs one at a time. 

Step 3

Now, add the vanilla, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Stir in the salt and baking soda before adding the flour. Mix until just combined. 

Step 4

Next, pour batter into the pan and bake for 45 to 55 minutes until it passes the toothpick test. Let it cool for 15 minutes before removing the ring and dusting with powdered sugar.
