STEP 1

First, make your dough using one tablespoon of water at a time until it is ready. Then, make a ball, cut it in half, and form two discs. Wrap and chill for at least 2 hours.

STEP 2

Next, mix all the filling ingredients in a large bowl. Combine well until it is thoroughly mixed and set aside. 

STEP 3

Now, roll out one disc into a rectangle and place it on a jelly roll pan. Spread the apple filling on top in an even layer. 

STEP 4

After, roll out the second disc and put it on top of the apples. Seal edges and cut a few slits in the top. Brush the top with milk and egg mixture and sprinkle with coarse sugar. 

STEP 5

Next, bake pie for 40 to 45 minutes or until it is golden brown. Let it cool a little bit before drizzling the glaze on top. Serve warm.
