Here's What You Need

To make this delicious Lemon Tart, you will need: -Amish pie crust -Lemon zest For the filling: -Eggs -Egg yolks -White sugar -Lemon juice -Lemon zest -Vanilla extract -Unsalted butter

STEP 1

To make the crust, follow the recipe and add one tablespoon of lemon zest. Then, blind bake the empty crust and let it cool. 

STEP 2

Now, heat the oven to 350 degrees F while you make the filling. Add all the filling ingredients in a medium saucepan and whisk to combine. 

Step 3

Whisking constantly, bring it to a boil over medium-low heat. Let it boil for about 5 to 8 minutes until it thickens to a pudding texture. 

Step 4

Strain the filling through a fine mesh strainer. Be sure to use a rubber spatula to press down, removing the excess moisture. 

Step 5

Then, pour the filling into the crust and bake for 5 to 8 minutes. Cool until it is room temperature before chilling for several hours. Serve with fresh berries and whipped cream.
