To make the chocolate banana bread you will need: – 1 cup all-purpose flour –  1/2 cup cocoa powder –  2 teaspoons baking powder –  1/2 teaspoon sea salt –  1 1/2 cups mashed bananas  –  1 large egg  –  1/4 cup unsalted butter  –  1/4 cup canola oil –  1 cup light brown sugar –  1 teaspoon vanilla extract –  1 cup large semisweet chocolate chips –  1/2 cup walnuts (chopped)

STEP 1

First, you start by mashing the bananas. Make sure you use ripe banana and mash them really well, without leaving behind any large chunks. After that, beat in melted butter, oil, eggs, and vanilla. Add the brown sugar and mix.

Next, in another large bowl, sift the dry ingredients: all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
